Community-based learning is a teaching and learning strategy that adds meaningful community engagement with instruction and reflection to enrich the learning experience with a greater importance on equal learning and reflection.
San Martin Agro-Industrial National High School gives importance on community-base skills demonstration of the Information and Communication Technology, Technical Vocational Livelihood strand of senior high school. The objectives of this activity are to enhance the confidence of the senior high school students, for them to be ready on their national assessment. Second, is to involve the community on the student learning’s and be aware of the latest technology. Third is to promote the school and the course offered by the school. Forth, is to strengthen the relationship of the parents or guardians and other stakeholders.
In quest for better learning in information and communication technology (ICT), the SMAINHS believed that Community-base skills demonstration of the students to the community helps on the development of skills and knowledge of the learners.
