When the time of the Tower of Babel fell down, the time of existence of the languages in this world recognizes and that is ENGLISH!
Many countries are speaking English language. English is said to be the mother language of an estimated 341 million people and the second language of 508 million people in over sixty countries. The countries who are using English as mother tongue languages are United States 76%, United Kingdom 94.8%, Canada 59.3%, Republic of Ireland 92.3%, Australia 95%, New Zealand 91.4%. These are the countries that we could really say are the one who obviously know how to speak well in English language. In South Africa only 5.7% of the people who use English; not including India, Africa, and Oceania.
This is the status of English around the world, not mentioning other places around the globe. We could really say that English is a medium of speech, for the rating shows many people using it as a way of communication in their daily lives. Even here in the Philippines, English is strictly considered as one of the languages to be studied. Let’s speak and PRACTICE ENGLISH now!
