English Week was successfully celebrated on February 20,2012 in Bukidnon State University Gymnasium with the theme “Embracing the Challenges through English”. Dr. Hazel Jean Abejuela, the chairperson of the Language and Letter Department started the program with her opening remarks followed by a dance number carried out by the second-year AB students from the College of Arts and Sciences. Mrs. Rizza Ramos-Consad was the guest speaker of the program who gave an inspirational message and noted the importance of English language among students, and that students should learn to speak English despite of the difficulties of rules and usage of the language. The speech was followed by a dance number performed third-year students and another intermission number carried out by the faculty members of the Language and Letter Department. Dr. Leonardo Danao delivered his closing remarks and expressed his gratitude and appreciation as to how students and teachers gave their support and cooperation on the program.
The success of the said celebration was headed by Dr. Hazel Jean Abejuela, the chairperson of the Language and Letter Department and the faculty members including the students who cooperate and participate on the different categories of the program.
